Worship
At Northgate, we have a passion to host the presence of God. One of the ways we do this is through worship. Our number one priority is our personal relationship with God; and our first ministry is to God, expressed through extravagant joy and gratitude. Our corporate worship reflects this priority as we honor Him and His presence above all else.
We believe what 2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”
Prayer
"For where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them..." Matthew 18:20. We believe that prayer is the heartbeat of the Christian life. We believe that prayer is powerful and ultimately transforms the hearts of individuals, families, cities and nations. We believe in mobilizing the church family into rhythms of persistent prayer and maintaining prayer as central to everything we do. We invite you to join us as we gather together to pray.
The Prayer Room will be open for community prayer sets.

Discipleship Huddles
A Huddle is a group of three to five people that get together regularly to have discussion around a chosen curriculum. We will begin Huddles in September. Women will go through Carla Chud's course on Identity. Men will go through the Brave Co. video course on Biblical Manhood.

The Wild
"The Wild" is NGA's Youth Ministry of 6th-12th graders, that helps the next generation learn how to cultivate faith, friendships, and fire for God. When a person encounters the presence of God, it ignites something inside of them that draws them nearer to God and strengthens their true identity. Come join us every Wednesday at 6pm in the Community Center.

Kids
Children are central in the Kingdom of God, and so we love the kids at Northgate! Our mission is to help grow a generation of kids who know and love Jesus, his word, and his church. Northgate Kids is more than just childcare, it's experiencing church JUST for kids! Children enjoy age-appropriate praise and worship, Bible stories, and activities. Care Teams
HELP OUT - REACH OUT
Everyone needs help sometimes. Care Teams are a way you can practically engage with someone who is in need of food, encouragement, or other assistance during a crisis.
Likewise, if you are in crisis, give the church office a call or text at (907) 864-6701. We will connect you with other church members or elders for prayer and/or practical support.

Impact
Northgate exists to see our community transformed by the love of the Father. Join in with our church family as we host events that invest in people’s God given identity and/or meet a practical need. Throughout the year, we heavily invest in projects like Fall Shoe Giveaway, Thanksgiving Blessing and Isolated Senior’s Be a Friend and Christmas Gift Project. Get involved today.

Global
Impact
A portion of Northgate’s general income is designated for use outside Alaska. The focus is divided between ministries and individuals supported on a long-term basis (anything over 6 months), a short-term basis (6 months or less), development and mentoring future missionaries, organizing and facilitating short term trips for Northgate individuals and like-minded friends from other churches, as well as funding for special opportunities and needs that present themselves.
