After being raised in the Native villages of Alaska’s interior as a daughter of missionary parents, Marla Rowland attended Briercrest Bible College in Saskatchewan before marrying Jim. Marla has been on staff at Northgate for thirteen years. She and her husband, Jim, have four grown children and five grandchildren. Marla is a lover of God and a lover of people. Marla oversees Women’s Ministry and Sozo Prayer Ministry and has a passion to see every person walk in freedom, wholeness and the fulfillment of their destiny. She has a gift to mentor and raise up the next generation of leaders. She carries a heart for unity in the local church, the churches of the Mat-Su Valley, and the churches of the state of Alaska.
